Doris L. Krewson of Lansdale

Doris L. Krewson, 94, of Lansdale, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at Brittany Pointe Estates. She was the beloved wife of the late William G. Krewson, who died in 1982.

Born in Philadelphia in 1924, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Pearl (Holtzman) Lister.

Doris enjoyed music and was a very proficient organist and pianist. She played frequently at the Brittany Pointe Estates, and accompanied the Brittany Songsters for 25 years. Doris also served as organist and pianist in many churches for over 60 years.

Surviving Doris is her son, Dr. William L. Krewson (Bettijean) of North Wales; her grandchildren, Charlene Serang (Maqsood), and Abigail Cramer (Isaiah); and her greatgrandchildren, Evan Serang, Kathryn Serang, Hannah Serang, and Imlah Cramer. She was preceded in death by her dear friend of 15 years, Douglas McDowell.

Friends and relatives will be received by her family on August 11, 2018 after 1:00 p.m. in the Auditorium at Brittany Pointe Estates, 1001 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, and are invited to remain for her memorial service at 2:00 p.m. A private interment was held at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville. Arrangements entrusted to the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
