Betty Jane Anders of Lansdale; Barbara A. Sutcliffe of Lansdale.

Betty Jane Anders, 92, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at her residence in the Brittany Pointe Estates. She was the beloved wife of the late Otto C. Anders, who died in 2017.

Born in Lebanon, PA, in 1926, she was the daughter of the late John & Gladys (Young) Myers.

Betty was a graduate of Ambler High School, and was employed with Prudential Life Insurance Company as an underwriter for over 20 years.

She is remembered for her light hearted and fun demeanor and good sense of humor, and will be missed dearly.

Surviving Betty is her son, Charles O. “Chuck” Anders (Marta), of Harleysville; her granddaughter, Caroline Anders, of San Antonio, TX; and her grandson, Brandon Anders, also of Harleysville.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Saturday, August 11 after 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium at Brittany Pointe Estates, 1001 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, and are invited to attend her memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held privately at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
