Both teams had numerous chances to score but both goalies and their defenses were able to turn all shots aside. Sudden death OT ensued and about five minutes into OT, Carroll was able to get inside the O’Hara defense and after a Maeve Riehman shot was blocked at the net, Katie LaBella was able get the rebound on her stick and ram it home.
