Elizabeth A. Moyer of Souderton.

Elizabeth “Betty” A. Moyer, 94, of Souderton, Pennsylvania; formerly of Franconia Twp., PA, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

She was born in Franconia Twp., Pennsylvania, to the late David D. Moyer and the late Mary Lizzie (Allebach) Moyer.

Betty worked on the family farm and then for Longacre’s Poultry in Franconia, PA.

She volunteered her time at the local retirement communities, MCC Material Resource Center, Penn View Christian School, & Franconia Mennonite Church where she was a lifetime member.

She is survived by her brother, Stanley A. Moyer of Souderton, PA; her six nephews, John M. Goshow of Perkasie, PA, Ronald M. Goshow & wife, Barbara of Green Lane, PA, Harley K. Moyer & wife, Sandra of Athol, ID, David K. Moyer & wife, Beverly of Souderton, PA, Brian K. Moyer & wife, Susan of Souderton, PA, Bradley K. Moyer & wife, Sherri of Broadway, VA; her five nieces, Ruthanne M. Goshow of Telford, PA, Mary Jane Yoder & husband, Norman of Telford, PA, Carol K. Leatherman & husband, Dale of Harleysville, PA, Linda S. Derstine & husband, Paul of Telford, PA, Laurel M. Moyer & husband, Philip of Souderton, PA; her 29 great-nieces and great-nephews; and her 55 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her two sisters, Ruth Goshow & Verna Moyer; her brother-in-law, Ezra M. Goshow; her sister-in-law, Gloria Moyer; her niece, Jolene K. Moyer; and her niece-in-law, Janet Goshow.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm at Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm.
