Diamond Credit Union opens new branch
Montgomery County location is company’s sixth
LIMERICK >> Diamond Credit Union has opened its newest branch — its sixth location — at 100 Diamond Way in Limerick. The 4,200 square foot branch officially opened Oct. 15.
“Between the tremendous growth of this area, and the existing membership base that we already have here, this specific location really popped,” John Faust, president/CEO, Diamond Credit Union, said in a press release. “The great visuals and prominent location of this branch, paired with second-tonone service and delivery, will

make for a tremendous experience for current and future members.”
Construction on the new location started in October 2017, according to Rob Hackash, Diamond Credit Union marketing manager. He said it made sense to locate the new branch in the Limerick area.
“The site was appealing because of the convenience from 422, its excellent proximity to Township Line Road and the existing retail environment,” he said. He added that the branch has a contemporary style, an open floor plans and floor to ceiling picture windows.
The new branch has eight employees, led by manager Andrea Sawchuck Moyer. She had previously managed the Pottstown branch of Diamond Credit
Union since 2010, and has been with the company since 2007.
Notable technology in the new Limerick branch, according to Hackash, is Diamond’s Remote Teller System (RTS), which allows members to interact with tellers via a video screen. The system is used in several other Diamond branches.
“It offers a strong combination of security, convenience and efficiency for routine transactions,” Hackash said.
The branch also offers Loan Zones — where customers connect with loan representatives from a private
room via a video connection. Hackash said the Loan Zones “increase privacy, convenience and efficiency.”
Customers banking at the new branch bank online in the branch — an option for those who are unable to log on at home or at work, Hackash added. The new branch also features a 24-hour atrium with an ATM and night deposit drop; three drivethrough lanes with tellers, during regular business hours; and a withdrawal only ATM 24-hour drivethrough.
Diamond’s last new branch opening was in 2014, at 173 Holly Road in Gilbertsville. In August the company broke ground on its seventh location — in Muhlenberg Township,
Berks County. That branch is expected to open in Oct. 2019.
Diamond Credit Union membership is open to anyone that lives, works, regularly conducts business in, or attends school in Berks County, Pottstown and parts of Montgomery and Chester counties.
The new branch is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; and closed Sunday.
