VILLA MARIA 1, MOUNT ST. JOE’S 0 >> The Magic ran out in the District 1-AA semifinals Tuesday. Hannah Miller scored the lone goal off an assist from Margaret Carden. Mount will play Great Valley Friday in a third-place game. Mount’s Claire McGuire made saves in a losing effort.

10 HAVERFORD 11, GA 9 >> The host Patriots fell to the visiting Fords of The Haver- ford School in an Inter-Ac clash at Germantown Academy on Tuesday. A secondquar­ter run proved to be the difference as the Fords entered halftime up 6-4. The Patriots would never be able to bridge the gap. The Patriots next take the pool in the Eastern Prep tournament this weekend. Haverford 11, GA 9
