Witting Trees scheduled to raise awareness of veteran suicides
Join us in a day of remembrance as our communities offer witness with a “Witting Tree” ceremony on Veterans Day. In a public remembrance, we will hang dog tags acknowledging the approximate number of veterans’ suicides each day.
Please consider coming any day to these locations listed here
in a silent reverent remembrance.
The following faith based congregations, community organizations and veterans groups will create “The Witting Tree” symbolizing the 18-22 suicides a day by veterans of all ages.
• Nov. 1-11 - 7:30 a.m. each morning at the Witting Tree - front lawn of church/St. Andrews United Church of Christ (UCC),
• 615 E. Walnut St., Perkasie/ Rev. Scott Hutchinson/Touchstone Veterans Outreach
• Nov. 1 - 8 a.m., and following worship Sunday, Nov. 11, around 11:45 a.m., at St. Peter’s Tohickon UCC,
