David B. Gordon of Lansdale.

David B. Gordon of Lansdale, PA, born January 15, 1931 in Amsterdam, NY, died Friday, December 7, 2018.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict.

His lifelong career with the General Electric Company began in 1949 in the Instrumentation Lab, Schenectady, NY, and continued through to his retirement in 1992 from the GE Space Division, King of Prussia, PA.

David was a longtime member of North Wales Baptist Church, North Wales, PA, and a current member of First Baptist Church, Lansdale, PA.

Preceding David in death are his birth father, Harold R. Ballard, in 1935; his mother, Dorothy Ballard Gordon (nee Barbour); his adoptive father, Merritt W. Gordon; his brother, Harold B. Gordon; and his sister, Dorothy G. Jones.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Carolyn K. Gordon (nee Knapp); his children, Deirdre G. Flenders (Joseph); Teresa G. Fenstermacher (R. Bruce); Paul David Gordon (Catherine); eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
