TWILIGHT ON THE RIVER

May through September - Second and Fourth Wednesday: Twilight on the River is a community open-air market in a lovely setting along the Schuylkill River in Bridgeport, PA. Open May through September. TASTE AND SEE TOUR

Two Sundays a Month: Spend an afternoon in Phoenixvil­le enjoying a food and spirits walking tour with some light history! We visit restaurant­s, wineries/breweries, and stores. It is about a mile-long walk through this quaint town. The tours are offered 2 times/month from April through October. Our summer dates are: July 7 or 21, and August 4 or 18. MORNING BIRD WALK

Tuesday, July 2: From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join Norristown Farm Park staff the first Tuesday of every month for a guided bird walk. Expect to see and hear many bird species that either reside or are passing through the park. Songbirds and raptors are the focus at this time of the year. Bring binoculars if you have them. Meet in parking lot #3. This free guided walk is appropriat­e for all ages. Pre-registrati­on is preferred. Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12: From 9 a.m. to noon. Students ages 9 to 12 entering grades four through seven in fall 2019 spend a week learning about the natural world around them through exploratio­n, games, activities, and crafts. Topics covered will include insects, birds, mammals, habitat, creek exploratio­n, and forest ecology. Camp shirts are guaranteed to those registered by the end of June.
