Take a hike

Gwynedd Square Presbyteri­an Church: The Hiking Ministry invites you to a four-mile walk on July 27. Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the church, 837 Sumneytown Pike, Upper Gwynedd. The group will drive to the Perkiomen Trail at the Spring Mount Hotel parking lot. There will be a brief devotion. Church of the Holy Spirit: The Episcopal church at 2871 Barndt Road and Sumneytown Pike, Upper Salford, offers a Celtic Healing Service July 25. Enjoy a picnic meal at 6:30 p.m., followed by a healing service in the Celtic tradition. The service combines meditative silence and prayers with faithful commitment to care for the earth. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church: Jazz Vespers is held the first Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. This non-traditiona­l evening service featuring jazz music blended with prayers, a spiritual message and other elements of worship. St. Luke’s United Church of Christ: Violinist Kevin Sloan will provide special music throughout the Sunday 10 a.m. worship service July 21 at 125 N. Main St., North Wales. Help others

Christ Covenant Church: During July Christ Covenant Church, 2200 Mainland Road, Towamencin, will be supporting the Lamb Foundation’s Cornucopia Cupboard with donations of non-perishable food. Items especially needed in restocking their food pantry are: canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, 100 percent juice, pasta and pasta sauce, rice, beans, instant pudding, dry cereal, canned tuna and salmon, disposable razors, deodorant, bar soap, shampoo, bleach, laundry detergent, fabric softeners, paper towels and toilet paper. Contributi­ons may be dropped off through July 31 at the church office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 9 to noon.
