North Penn boys bowling sweeps UD

Boys Bowling

NORTH PENN 4, UPPER DUBLIN 0 >> North Penn edged Upper Dublin by 20 points in the first game and 23 pins in the third game as the Knights swept Upper Dublin Wednesday.

Lucas Francis paced North Penn with a 696 series with games of 256, 206 and 234. Vincent Qian and Ryan Baker bowled their first varsity games for North Penn — Qian with four consecutiv­e strikes in posting a 182 in the third game while Baker added a 141 in the third.

Ari Weiner’s 495 series led Upper Dublin. 870-824-848=2542

Girls Bowling

UPPER DUBLIN 4, NORTH PENN 0 >> Upper Dublin’s Gwen Hoffman bowled games of 126, 161 and 146 for a 433 as the Cardinals claimed a sweep of North Penn Wedneday.

Mikayla Johnson added a 425 series for UD. North Penn’s Annaleigh Switzer finished with a 378 series. Upper Dublin 4, North Penn 0

Boys Basketball
