Chamber honors members at breakfast
Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce opens new year by honoring members for their service.
PENN TOWNSHIP >> The Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce kicked off 2020 with a breakfast recognizing outstanding service to the chamber by its members.
The Annual Meeting Breakfast last week also gave the chamber a chance to share its 2019 accomplishments and 2020 strategic initiatives with the more than 100 people in attendance at Hartefeld National Golf Club in New Garden Twp., Chester County.
“We are grateful for our many members who give so much time and energy to our chamber,” Cheryl Kuhn, president of the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce, said in a press release. “Their passion and commitment greatly support our chamber so we can continue to be an invaluable resource in the Southern Chester County community.”
Recipients of the chamber’s awards included:
• Erik Gudmundson of Pegasus Technologies LLC — Chairman’s Award.
• Brian Arencibia and Cliff Masscotte of ServPro of Kennett Square/Oxford — Volunteer of the Year.
• Doug Doerfler of Genesis — Closer of the Year for his work in bringing new members to the chamber.
• Christine Gordon of Merrill Lynch — Ambassador of the Year.
The Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1929 in Kennett Square. The organization currently has nearly 500-member businesses that include business leaders and professionals, notfor-profits, institutions, legislative leaders and more.
