St. Peter’s Lutheran Church: 211S. Main St., North Wales celebrates the Fourth Sunday after Epiphany with Holy Communion Services at 8:30and 10:00AM. Special music by St. peter’s Belles. During the 10o’clock service there will be SPARK Sunday school, Youth Group, and a nursery for infants and toddlers. Marketplace Prayer Ministry: Monthly prayer ministry located at a storefront location in the Shelly Square Shopping Center. In February it will be held on Friday, February 7th from 4to 8 pm. This month the theme will be Discovering God’s Love. The Rev. Lee Corpier will be presenting the message. The shopping center is located at the intersection of Shelly Road and Route 63. You can come when you wish and feel free to leave when you must. From 4pm to 6:30pm participants can visit our prayer stations (for all ages), pray alone or request a prayer team to pray with them. Quiet meditative music is provided during this time. Then a time of worship is offered at 6:30pm followed by an opportunity for participants to receive prayer from prayer teams. Dinner and a movie: The Church of the Holy Spirit (Episcopal), 2871 Barndt Road at the corner of Sumneytown Pike, Upper Salford, holds its monthly Friday Adult Faith Forum on Feb. 7 featuring a showing of the movie, “Bridegroom,” a true story about a gay couple and family prejudice. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a potluck supper for those wishing to share food and fellowship, and it is followed by the film and discussion. Two piano concert: Pianists Rebekah Stiles and Micah Leary will perform a free two piano concert at Souderton Mennonite Church, 105W. Chestnut St., Souderton, on Sunday, February 16at 3 p.m. This is a must-see for pianists, piano students and classical music enthusiasts. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see these rising stars who are fourth year piano performance students under the study of Kenneth Borrmann at Cairn University. An afternoon of duo and solo classical piano. A free-will offering will be taken. St. John’s UCC: The Chancel Choir at St. John’s United Church of Christ will perform with the Trinity Choir from Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, at the latter’s 10:15am worship service on February 2. In the absence of the Chancel Choir, Don Reese will perform special guitar music at the 10:15am service at St. John’s. All are welcome! The church is at 500W. Main St., Lansdale.

‘A Musical Mosiac’: An unusual chamber concert will be presented by the newly renamed music organization, Montgomery County Chorale & Orchestra, under the direction of David Fitzpatrick. The choral and orchestral music to be presented is inspired by art, poetry, and dance. Also highlighted will be an exhibit featuring artwork by local artists Susan Evershed, Leroy Forney, Stephen Heilakka, Kara Silverman, K. Jameson Stratton, Wayne Stratz and Marg Wolf. Valentine’s Celebration and Renewal of Vows: St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church: 16 S. Spring Garden Street, Ambler, announces the Celebration of the Sacramental Renewal of Vows on Valentine’s weekend. This event is one of the year’s events leading up to the 100 Jubilee of St Joseph’s in October, 2020. Mass with Rev. Eugene M. Tully, 4 pm Feb. 15. Immediately following the Mass will be the Sacramental Renewal of Vows. Light refreshments follow in the Heritage Hall for all parishioners and attendees adjacent to the main entrance of the church. This event is open to any Catholic couple in the Ambler area — parishioner, former parishioner or not, that wishes to renew their vows. Hours are Wednesdays from 9:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Browse a new maternity line, as well as clothing for children and women, books, art, jewelry, attic treasures, housewares and more.
