Boo at the Zoo, Halloween films on tap
Here are some events planned for this weekend throughout the region:
• Elmwood Park Zoo, Norristown, hosts Boo at the Zoo on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Treat and activity stations are located throughout the zoo. Go in costume. Free with zoo admission. • Adam Ferrara performs Friday at 6 p.m. at Soul Joel’s Comedy Club’s Outdoor

The Colonial Theatre, Phoenixville, presents a 35mm version of the horror classic “Halloween”

Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, kicks off Movies on Broad,
a socially-distanced, in-arena movie experience, with “Fright Week,” running through Sunday. The films will be
shown within the arena’s seating bowl on its new scoreboard. Scheduled for tonight is the Jordan Peele double-feature of “Get Out” (2017) at 6 and “Us” (2019) at 9. On Friday it’s “The House With a Clock in its Walls” (2018) at 6, “The Invisible Man” (2020) at 9 and “Bride of Chucky” (1998) at midnight. Saturday is “The House With a Clock in its Walls” at noon, followed by “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” (1982) at 3, “Casper” (1995) at 6, “Halloween” (2018) at 9 and “Shaun of the Dead” (2004) at midnight; and Sunday it’s “Back to the Future” (1985) at noon followed by “Casper” at 3. • The 20th annual Jewish Food Festival at Reform Congregation Oheb Sholom, 555 Warwick Drive, Wyomissing, will be held as a drive-through event on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-orders must be placed at ohebsholom.org.

Cinema Pop-Ups presents “Maybe Next Year,”
the story of the Philadelphia Eagles and their 2017 Super Bowl-winning season, Thursday at 7 p.m. and a double-feature of “Beetlejuice” (1988) and “Halloween” (1978) on Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m., respectively, in the parking lot of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks.
