LANSDALE CATHOLIC 4, CONWELL EGAN 0 » Eric Fernandez netted a hat trick and assisted on Kyle Schmidt’s goal to lead the Crusaders to a Philadelph­ia Catholic League win over Conwell Egan Wednesday.

Will Kelly and Jack Edling also tallied assists for LC.

SPRING-FORD 2, PERK VALLEY 0 » Ekow Asomaning headed home an Andrew Merchant corner in the 13th minute to give the Rams a lead they’d never relinquesh in a Pioneer Athletic Conference win over the Vikings Wednesday.

After Perk Valley hit the crossbar a couple times and Logan Heyduke made some key saves for Spring-Ford, Brian Zisk gave the Rams some breathing room with a score to make it 2-0. OWEN J. ROBERTS 2, UPPER MERION 1 » The Wildcats responded to the Vikings’ early score by hitting for goals in each half, securing the victory in Wednesday’s non-league pairing of PAC member schools.

Robbie Gambone came up with the equalizer for OJR at the 17:42 mark in the first half, and Pierce Marks produced the ultimate game-winner off a P.J. DePorry assist 35:26 in the second. Sam Schwartz got UM on the scoreboard with 31:55 left in the first half.

Andrew Keddie had two saves in goal for an Owen J outfit that outshot its guests 6-4. Nate Dallas had a three-save outing for the Vikes.

DOCK MENNONITE 2, ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 0 » Emma Kratz and Peyton Scialanca scored first-half goals for the Pioneers in a nonleague win over the Patriots Wednesday afternoon.

Kratz scored, assisted by Lauren Moatemri, in the fifth minute to give Dock a lead and Tess Bergey set up Scialanca to make it 2-0 in the 19th minutes.

Dock’s back line of Meghan Jurin, Moatemri and Clara Benner kept Carroll from generating many scoring chances. Laura Frederick made five saves to secure the shutout.

Girls volleyball

CB EAST 3, SOUDERTON 0 » Souderton ended its season with a competitiv­e effort in a loss against CB East Wednesday.

Alyssa Reiner tallied 10 kills, two aces and 11 digs for the Indians while Nikki Hamilton posted 15 assists, one ace and two digs and Isabelle Feliciani had seven digs.

Field hockey

METH ACT ON 4, BOYER TOWN 1 » Lily DeWan and Jess Serafin each tallied two assists in the Warriors PAC win over Boyertown Wednesday.

DeWan found Bayla Plower for the game’s first goal and Serafin set up Alexa Kratz to make it 2-0 in the middle of the first quarter.

DeWan scored later in the first half to give Mathacton a 3-1 lead into halftime.

Bene Catoia found the back of the cage early in the fourth quarter cap off the scoring, 4-1.

Girls tennis

SPRING-FORD 5, CARDINAL O’HARA 0 » The Rams cruised to a victory in their first match of the PIAA Class 3A tournament on Wednesday, advancing to the Saturday’s state semifinals against District 11’s Southern Lehigh (11-) at noon in Hershey.

The Rams collective­ly dropped two games the entire match. Mia Matriccino, Isabel Mejia and Cady Krause all won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0. Emily Tiffan and Lucy Olsen won in first doubles 6-0, 6-1 and Evelyn Mejia and Alexis Luo won their second doubles match 6-1, 6-0.
