Community Health & Dental Care expands pharmacy services, discounts for patient meds

Community Health & Dental Care Inc. and Pottstown Pharmacy have entered into an agreement to expand pharmacy services and medication discounts to Community Health & Dental Care patients in Pottstown and surrounding communities

Under the agreement, patients can now get their prescriptions filled either at the Community Health & Dental Care dispensary at the Coventry Mall, 351 W. Schuylkill Road in North Coventry or at Pottstown Pharmacy, 1501 East High Street in Pottstown.

Eligible patients who need access to medication at an affordable price — especially higher costs medications — can receive medication discounts, according to a press release.

Patients must be an established medical patient of Community Health & Dental and complete the required application to determine the healthcare discount to be applied. Those applying for Community Health & Dental Care’s healthcare discount program may receive medications for as low as $5 per prescription, the release stated.

Community Health & Dental Care Inc. provides medical, dental, OBGYN, vision, podiatry, physical therapy, medication assistance therapy (MAT), integrated behavioral health, care and case management, and free transportation to and from all four CHDC health center locations, The provider has four locations, including North Coventry, two locations in Lower Pottsgrove and the newest location in Barto.
