NORTH PENN 7, PLYMOUTHWH­ITEMARSH 0 » The Knights raised their record to 3-0 with an impressive showing over the Colonials on Thursday.

Jay Doscher set the tone with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles over Adam Knopf. The Knights didn’t drop a set on the day with Ansh Sharma and Hans Perera also picking up singles victories.

Baseball

PW 4, PENNSBURY 1 » Senior pitches Joe Rauscher and Tom Yanoshik combined for the five-hitter with nine strikeouts to boot. Joe Jaconski, Jesse Jaconski and Jack Hildebrand each picked up RBI’s. Joe Jaconski and Luke Caucci also doubled for PW.

Girls Lacrosse

WISSAHICKO­N 16, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 6 » Abby DeGroat made good decisions on the attack, on defense, and taking the draw, and led the way with three goals, two assists and five draw controls.

Sophia Chiodo Ortiz and junior attacker Emma Baker each scored five goals and had one assist for Wiss.

Quinn Gaffey had five draw controls and scored two goals and an assist for the Trojans, and freshman Nora Ryan scored one goal.

Also, Haley Reed made several big stops and had two critical ground balls for Wiss and Madeline Murphy had seven saves in goal and two intercepti­ons.

For CB East, Courtney Curry scored three goals and Paige Keller added a goal and an assist.

Morgan Talt and Abby Durr each scored a goal for the Pats.

Ava Delfin had five saves in goal for the Patriots. ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 12, O’HARA 5 » Carroll opened up its portion of the Catholic League schedule with a 12-5 win on Friday. Carroll jumped out to an 8-5 lead at the half, but with 4:30 remaining in the first half Carroll received its fourth card. As a result, Carroll had to play the rest of the game one man down. The team responded by not only keeping O’Hara off the scoreboard the rest of the way, but also adding 4 more goals in the 2nd half. Julia Basciano led Carroll with four goals. Kiley Mottoce added three goals and Keri Barnett chipped in with 2. Goalie Sophie Kevtak stopped 11 O’Hara shots for the win. O’Hara was led by Ellie Miller, who scored all five goals.

Boys Lacrosse WISSAHICKO­N 18, CB WEST 5

» The Wissahicko­n boys lacrosse team rolled to a big win in its home opener over Central Bucks West 18-5 on Friday. The Trojans were led in scoring by sophomore Kyle Lehman who put up 5 goals and 2 assists in his first career varsity game. Senior Jackson Intrieri ( Ursinus commit) had 4 goals and 3 assists and junior Dean Wolfe had 4 goals of his own. Other contributo­rs on offense were Sam Baker with 1 goal and 1 assist. Brody Meyers, brother Gavin Meyers, and EJ Schreiner all added 1 goal and Andrew Slackman making his varsity debut added an assist. The defense was excellent all night anchored by Chase Ott, Max Gendelman, Ethan Glass, Michael Licata, Quinn Fonash and Scott Pfeiffer in goal. Matt Fritz( Ohio State commit) was excellent all day with 10 faceoff wins. DOWNINGTOW­N WEST 7, UPPER DUBLIN 6 » David Sowers scored two goals and added one assist, but took the loss on Friday. Stephen Pileggi also scored two goals for the Cardinals.

SOUDERTON 10, UPPER MORELAND 1 » The Indians picked up the win Friday as Jamison McDivitt scored 3 goals and 3 assists. John Martin Vince added three goals, wihle Kobi Bui had three goals and one assist for Souderton. Goalie Matthew Malanga added 7 saves, while Luke Wawrzynek took 7 of 13 faceoffs.

SOUDERTON 3, LC 0 » The Indians picked up another win on Saturday, winning 25-6, 25-14 and 25-8 over LC.

PENNRIDGE 3, QUAKERTOWN 1» The Rams prevailed 3331, 25-21, 23-25, 25-12 on Friday night, behind 40 assists and five aces by Riley Kodidek.

Dan Detweiler (14 digs), Bryce Muller (14 kills, four aces), Ryan Benscoter (10 kills, 9 digs), Tyler Johnson (10 kills) and Thomas McKinney (seven kills) also contribute­d for Pennridge.
