Luby leads North Penn past Lower Merion

NORTH PENN 10, LOWER MERION 2 >> Dakari Luby scored two goals and had two assists in a non-league win over Lower Merion Tuesday.

Connor Toussaint and Jake Dolan also added two goals each for the Knights while Matt Kuhn made 15 saves.

North Penn led 3-0 after the first quarter, 4-1 at half and 7-2 after the third quarter.

SPRINGFIEL­D 9, WISSAHICKO­N 8 >> Springfiel­d Delco rallied to a one-goal win over the Trojans Tuesday.

Wiss led 3-2 after the first quarter, 6-3 at halftime and 8-6 after the third before Springfiel­d rallied in the fourth.

Kyle Lehman led the Trojans with three goals and three assists. Jackson Intrieri added two goals and one assist. Scott Pfeiffer made nine saves in goal. SOUDERTON 12, NESHAMINY 2 >> Kobi Bui scored five goals and tallied three assists in the Indians SOL National win Tuesday.

Justin Wawrzynek added three goals while Jamison McDivitt had six assists.

Souderton took control of the game by winning the second quarter 7-0.

Girls lacrosse

SOUDERTON 18, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 2 >> Lauren Hallman totaled four goals and two assists in the Indians win Tuesday.

Reiley Knize, Avery Farina, Caroline Kelly, Rachel Schewe and Peyton Clemmer each added two goals and Knize had three assists.

Grace Picozzi and Emily Simpson each scored for the Crusaders.

WISSAHICKO­N 13, PENNRIDGE 3 >> Emma Baker led all scorers with six goals and one assist Monday, and added five draw controls to her play.

Abby DeGroat (three goals with one assist and two draw controls), Sophia Chiodo Ortiz (two goals, two assists), Quinn Gaffey (one goal, one assist, two ground balls), Chloe Lee (one goal, one assist, and one ground ball), Nora Ryan had (one assist and two ground balls) and Madeline Murphy (nine saves in cage and one ground ball) also keyed the Trojans.

For Pennridge, Amelia Loughery scored three goals and goalie Brenna Craig had nine saves.

Baseball

ARCHBISHOP WOOD 19, HARRITON 0 >> Kevin Cute had six RBI in Wood’s four-inning win over Harriton Tuesday.

Joey Gale knocked in four runs and Michael Trommer plated three.

Ryan Albin pitched two innings of a combined nohitter for the Vikings staff and struck out five batters.

Boys tennis

POPE JOHN PAUL II 6, UPPER MERION 1 >> JT Collins swept the second singles match 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Golden Panthers to a PAC win over the Vikings Tuesday.

PJP won all three singles matches and first, second and fourth doubles.

Andrew Egan and Aditya Mogul won third doubles for Upper Merion, 6-1, 6-3. NORTH PENN 7, PENNRIDGE 0 >> The Knights swept to victory over the Rams on Monday to improve to 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the SOL Colonial.

Jay Doscher, Ansh Sharma and Hans Perera all had singles victories for North Penn. The No. 1 doubles team of Andrew Brown and Alex Brown helped lead the way, defeating Isaac Hartzel and Josh Wurz of the Rams.

Mahi Nuthanapat­i and Jigar Dadarwala, Nikhil Madaka and Riley Stanton (NP), and Collin McGuireAdi Ingle also notched doubles victories for the Knights.

Boys volleyball

PENNRIDGE 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 >> The Rams prevailed 25-19, 25-16, 25-18 on Monday, led by Ryan Benscoter’s 10 kills and 8 aces.

Thomas McKinney (six kills), Tyler Johnson (five kills), Bryce Muller (three kills), Skyler Ammon (three kills, two aces), Riley Kodidek (22 assists, five digs) and Dan Detweiler (8 digs, two aces) also contribute­d for the Rams (2-0).

DOCK MENNONITE 3, LANSDALE CATHOLIC 0 >> Dock senior Jacob Schreiner provided senior leadership and several serving runs in the first two sets to help the Pioneers sweep LC Tuesday.
