Balanced Warriors roll past Boyertown

Girls lacrosse

METHACTON 15, BOYERTOWN 6 >> Hat tricks by Jayme Weber, Julia McCann and Megan Sanelli helped the Warriors blow open a close PAC Liberty Division game with the Bears Thursday.

Methacton also got twogoal showings from Michelle Zhai and Kealy McCarthy, along with solo tallies from Rylie Derrickson and Alexa Kratz. Boyertown, which trailed by a narrow 6-5 count at the half, got two goals from Delaney Fox and Ali Pioli, and one apiece from Allie Schell, Jordan Woodring, MacKenzie Clark had 10 saves for the Warriors, Elli Ferraro 12 for the Bears.

SPRING-FORD 22, NORRISTOWN 1 >> With 14 players getting into the scoring act, the Rams rolled over the Eagles in Thursday’s PAC Liberty Division contest.

Emma Sowers netted a hat trick and two assists to lead Spring-Ford’s balanced offense, which also got two-goal production­s from Lexi Sowers, Alyssa Mozi (two assists), Mac Maloney, Madi Doyle, Maddie Pierce and Giana DiBattista. Abbey Boyer, Alyssia Collins, Summer Smith (three assists), Brenna Whiteside (two assists), Lindsay Evak, Brynn Frankhouse­r and Karly Cabot completed the SF point production.

JENKINTOWN 15, DOCK 4 >> Emma Kratz scored two goals, while Abby Mellinger and Olivia Zaskoda also scored for the Pioneers (13, 1-1) on Thursday.

ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 22, HALLAHAN 0 >> Carroll scored all 20 goals in the first half in defeating Hallahan 20-0 on Thursday. All 20 goals were scored by different players once more. Goalie Bridget Robinson recorder her third straight shutout and third win of the season stopping just a single shot. Goalie Olivia Reisgno of Hallahan stopped 5 shots. Kiley Mottice added 6 more assists and Emma Talego added 4 assists. Carroll record overall is now 5-1 and 5-0 in the Catholic league.

Boys Lacrosse

OWEN J. ROBERTS 13, PJP II 5 >> Ambrose Collilouri led the charge for PJP with three goals, while Luke Sykes added one goals, two assists and 10 ground balls. Eric Zadroga also scored for the Golden Panthers, while Connor Gucwa had five ground balls.

Boys tennis

PHOENIXVIL­LE 7, UPPER MERION 0 >> The Phantoms dropped only two games in the doubles bracket on their way to a sweep of the Vikings in Thursday’s PAC matchup.

The doubles teams of Anthony DeLuca/Oliver Gordon (first) and Luka Eaton/Brandon Benkler (fourth) posted identical 6-0, 6-0 wins. UM’s best individual showing came at first singles, where Jon Doan extended Josh Starczewsk­i to three sets.

Boys Volleyball

SOUDERTON 3, CB WEST 0 >> The Indians picked up the win on Thursday by 25-14, 25-14 and 25-15 scores. Kaivalya Bhatt led the charge with 11 digs, while Nate Brown added 23 assists.
