Panel discussion to examine impact on women’s health

NORRISTOWN >> The public is invited to “Health issues and the COVID-19 Pandemic: Impact on Women” on Wednesday, April 21, at 6 p.m.

“Women’s needs are often overlooked in our society, especially with respect to health concerns like the COVID-19 pandemic,” said event organizer Attorney Samantha Kats, co-chair of the Victim Services Center Endowment Committee.

“We are looking forward to a robust discussion of health concerns, health disparitie­s, and, in particular, the impact of the Pandemic on Black women and people of color,” said Attorney Carrie Gish, event organizer and co-chair of the VSC Endowment Committee.

Speakers

Stephanie Felder is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor at FitFaith Life.

Ahmara Ross, MD, PhD., is an assistant professor of Ophthalmol­ogy and Neurology at Penn Medicine

Olena Korsun, RN, BSN, LPC, is a psychiatri­c nurse at Fairmount Behavioral Health.
