In Dixon, the Solano County Orderly Growth Committee endorses Steve Bird for mayor and Logan Legg for District 4, Dixon City Council.

Officials said Bird “strikes us as a practical man whose leadership as Mayor will best serve Dixon in the future.” They touted his law enforcement and council experience, his support of solar energy usage, protection of open space and support of local farming operations and protection of local farmland.

Officials describe Legg as “an impressive candidate who will bring fresh energy, insights and problem- solving to the Dixon City Council.Hi energy is an asset, they said, and his environmental credentials are equally impressive.
