Two arrested in connection with theft, drugs, firearms, warrants
A Suisun City man and a Davis woman were arrested Monday in Vacaville in connection with theft and warrants.
An employee of a business in the 3000 block of Harbison Drive reportedly told police that a man had left with a box of unpaid goods and gave a description of the suspect and description and license plate of his vehicle.
An officer later located the vehicle in the 1500 block of Helen Power Drive as it sped through the area, officials said.
A stop revealed Jaimie Charles Thomas, 37, and Tamara Niki Weaver, 38, and suspected stolen property located throughout the vehicle.
There also was evidence of identity theft, many from a vehicle burglary in the Bay Area and a loaded firearm wedged between the front passenger seat and door, officials said.
Thomas was arrested and booked into Solano County Jail on nine warrants citing four counts of shoplifting, eight counts of failure to appear in court, five counts of petty theft, one count of grand theft and two counts of possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
He was also booked on suspicion of shoplifting,k appropriation of lost property, possession of a narcotic controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license.
Weaver was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, possession of other people’s identifying information, possession ofsa controlled substance while armed, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, carrying a loaded handgun not registered to her, being a felon in possession of a firearm and being a felon in possession of ammunition.
