On Sunday at Wild Horse Golf Course, Gary Robinson won first flight with a net 73, followed by Nick Martin (76) and John O’Brien (78).

Second f light went to Chuck Murtishaw with a net 70, followed by Rick Ruggiero (71) and Rick Myers (74).

Bruce Smith won third flight with a net 65, followed by Frank Bottoms (66) and Doug Lipkin (68).

Fourth flight was won by Bill Hartman with a net 55, followed by John Fink (68) and Frank Crim (72).

Dennis Kalas came closest to the pin on hole No. 4 at 9 inches. Murtishaw was nearest on No. 6 at 16 feet, 8 inches. Dan Powell was closest on No. 12 at 12 feet, 8 inches, while Robinson came nearest on No. 14 at 16 feet, 5 inches.

This week starts the club championsh­ips and runs for the next three weeks with best- adjusted score being club champ

Randy Hood and Terry Hartman both netted 69s on first flight, while Gary Behne and Mark Foley both carded 75s.

Second flight went to Jim Bryan with a net 67, followed by Rich Forgie (70) and Doug Beaumont (76).

Steve Handel and Steve Acord both shot 77.

Raleigh Galgan won third flight with a net 71, followed by Joe Chu (75) and Jim Delker (78).

Flight four was won by Jim Evans with a net 71, followed by Bob Dias (73). Bill Czabaranek and Dennis Dix both carded 74s.

Ray Easton won fifth flight with a net 75, followed by Dennis La Brie (77) and Lee Tong (78).

Flight six went to Keith Toman with a net 70. Werner Schmid and Sam Derting both shot 71.

Ron Lodetti won flight seven with a net 70, followed by Ron Lodetti (70) and Bob Beksel (73).

Bryan came closest to the pin on hole No. 5 at 5 feet, 5 inches. Steve Gwhiz was nearest on No. 8 at 9 feet, 3 inches. Chu was closest on No. 12 at 8 feet, 11 inches, while Lodetti came nearest on No. 15 at 13 feet even.

Rancho Solano Women’s Golf Club

September 22 was our tournament for the 2020 Ace of Aces, with six ladies competing: Lesley Stewart, Doreen Moses, Mary Fowler, Gayle Allustiart­e, Pat Mitchell and Donna Scolaro. Scolaro had the low net score of 73 and is our 2020 Ace of Aces.

There were two flights of the low-net game.

Allustiart­e won first flight with a net 77, followed by Lynda Donahue (79), Kathy Arnold (79) and Stewart (81).

Flight two went to Keylene Maertz with a net 73, followed by Scolaro (73), Kathy Tomko (75) and Mary Lou Miller (87).

Donahue and Arnold both had the low gross of 87.

Niners

On Thursday in first flight, Jacque Welch and Sandy Latchford both netted 26, Welch winning on the handicap hole tiebreaker. Sandy Austin, Kitty Lockwood and Marilee Schauff all carded 31s, finishing in that order on the tiebreaker­s.

Barbara Ray and Diane Stephens each netted 27 in second flight, Ray winning on the tiebreaker. Nancy Schlesinge­r and Sue Watkins both shot 28s, Schlesinge­r winning on the tiebreaker, while Liz Dykstra carded a 30.

Rosemarie Chonzena won third flight with a net 22, followed by Rosie McCown (27), Kay Hadwin (28) and Kim Weaver (30). Pat Alvestad and Shirley Helmich both carded 31s, Alvestad winning on the tiebreaker.

Schauff birdied hole No. 3, while Latchford and Carol Wilson both birdied No. 14.

Paradise Valley Women’s Golf Club

In the Club Championsh­ip, Darlene Goodman was the Low Gross champ with a 174, while Chris Moore was Low Net champ with a 134.

In first flight, Goodman had the low gross of 174. Liinda Grace finished first with a net 145, followed by Pla Lee (147).

Jakki Kutz had the low gross 176 in f light two, while Moore had the low net of 134 followed by Vicky Flandi (147) and Maria Quaintance (150).

Jody Knight had the low gross of 200 in third flight, while Leeann Fortney recorded the low net of 153, followed by Sandy Handel ( 156) and Becky Carroll (160).

Henrie Newland shot the low gross of 223 in fourth flight. Kely ne Maertz had the low net of 152, followed by Katie Nguyen (160).

Chip- ins were made by Goodman and Kutz on hole No. 17, Carroll on Nos. 2 and 9, Jackie Smith on No. 4, Newland on No. 6 and Trish Boldt on No. 9.

Jackie Smith birdied holes Nos. 3 and 7, Jakki Kutz Nos. 6 and 16, Linda Grace Nos. 2 and 9, Lee No. 7, Goodman No. 3 and June Kitapan No. 15.
