Vacaville realtor wins national award

Todd Renfrew, the owner of Vacaville real estate agency California Outdoor Properties, has been named as the Realtors Land Institute’s (RLI) APEX 2020 National Broker of the Year in the category of “AgLand Sales: Ranches,” according to a news release.

The award is given to applicants with the highest transactio­n volume in land sales, per the release.

Renfrew received his award March 17 at the RLI’s Virtual National Land Conference. He had previously won an APEX National Producer Award in 2019 and ranked among its top 20 in 2018.

“This is a great honor to receive,” Renfrew said in a statement. “I have a great team behind me at California Outdoor Properties. I couldn’t have done it without them.”

California Outdoor Properties specialize­s in largescale properties, including ranches, in California and Nevada. Among the properties Renfrew has sold include the 275-acre Mitchell Ranch in Yolo County, 120,000-acre Dixie Valley Ranch in Lassen County and 3,920-acre Elizabeth Ranch in Los Angeles County.

“We are proud of Todd and all of our members that were recognized for their accomplish­ments in 2020,” RLI CEO Aubrie Kobernus said in a statement. “They truly are the cream of the crop when it comes to land real estate profession­als.”

This year, the program received 140 applicants totaling a combined $3.5 billion in qualifiyin­g transactio­n land volume, which is three times larger in size from its inception, per the release. A list of all winners can be found at Rliland.com/ national-land-conference/rliapex-awards-program/.
