Young entrepreneurs to showcase business ideas in a virtual fair

-

For as difficult as it can be for businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, many have found ways to thrive. A group of Vacaville businesses want to pass along what they have learned and bring a sense of entrepreneurial spirit to others.

In conjunction with Valley of the Sacred Heart Academy, a number of Vacaville businesses including McGuire Capital Group, The Baby Shop, Katie Marie Designs, Lopez Family Martial Arts, Pure Grain Bakery and Kumon have sponsored 20 child entrepreneurs in Vacaville for the Virtual Business Fair.

According to a news release, these youthful entrepreneurs received training through MyFirstSale. com and received lessons on how to develop an idea for a business and build an e-commerce website where patrons can purchase real products.

“Each business is very special because the students are selling their own products including fresh wreaths, bath soaps, handmade jewelry, baked goods, Christian peg doll sets, cutting boards, furniture, tamales, jams, rustic bouquets, portraits, survival kits, baby accessories, enchilada sauce, organic teas, succulents, greeting cards, and religious art and gifts,” per the release. “Each entrepreneur is also donating some of their profits to various charitable organizations!”

The fair will be held 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. To RSVP, and receive more information on the young entrepreneurs and their products, go to Myfirstsale.com/ fair/valley-of-the-sacredheart/.
