Celebration of Fiber

The Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers invites the public to its annual Celebration of Fiber March 24 to April 2.

The exhibit will start Friday, March 24, with a reception 6 to 8 p.m. and will continue daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., ending Sunday, April 2.

The exhibit will be displayed at the Guild House, 3507 Main St., Manayunk. Parking is available across the street at themovie theater lot.

The exhibit will feature a variety of handwoven scarfs, wall hangings and tapestries. In addition, there will be examples of felting, dying, spinning, knitting, crocheting rugmaking, basketry, sewing, embroidery and mixed fiber media.
