Group offers information for prospective homeowners at meetings
Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity is holding several homeownership information meetings in July where people can learn about Habitat for Humanity and the Pomona Valley chapter’s current homeownership opportunities.
Those who are interested in an opportunity to buy an affordable home may contact the chapter’s office for information and to RSVP by emailing info@habitatpv.org or calling 909-596-7098 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
At the information sessions, details will be provided about homeownership opportunities in partnership with Pomona Valley Habitat, and applications will be available, according to a news release.
Those attending must bring a valid California driver’s license, their Social Security card or passport, proof of legal residency and a check or money order payable to Pvhabitat for Humanity (Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity) in the amount of $25 for one applicant, plus $20 for each additional applicant. The fee is for credit check processing.
People who live in the Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity service area are eligible to apply. The chapter serves the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Covina, Diamond
Bar, Glendora, La Puente, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas, Upland, Walnut and West Covina.
Application forms also are available at the Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity office, 2111 Bonita Ave., La Verne. Applications for the current homeownership opportunities must be submitted on or before Aug. 31.
