Escape Craft Brewery celebratin­g 8 years in Redlands

Escape Craft Brewery will celebrate the eighth anniversar­y of its original brewery — now dubbed the Nevada Street Barrelhous­e — on Saturday.

The free, family-friendly event is set for 1-9 p.m., with VIP and Passport members getting early access at noon. The event will feature live music, new merchandis­e and food vendors, including 4Tinos, I Catering and Tom’s Smokin’ Hot BBQ Pitstop.

Escape Craft Brewery’s Nevada Street Barrelhous­e is at 721 Nevada St., Unit 401, in Redlands.

In the years since opening, Escape has added locations in downtown Redlands (440 Oriental Ave.) and Laguna Niguel (28162 Camino Capistrano, Unit 109A).

New eatery at Haven City Market

The lineup of eateries continues to evolve at Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga.

The latest restaurant­s to arrive include Bushi by Jinya and Pelicana Chicken.

Bushi by Jinya is an offshoot of Jinya Ramen Bar, which has dozens of locations throughout several states, including Georgia, Texas, Virginia and right here in California.

Bushi also serves ramen along with other Japanese items, including hand rolls and karaage.

Pelicana Chicken specialize­s in Korean fried chicken.

The restaurant offers bone-in chicken and wings and boneless chicken, along with Korean and American-style sides.

Haven City Market is at 8443 Haven Ave.

New at Baker's

Bacon makes everything better, right? Even a milkshake?

Baker’s Drive-thru has recently introduced a Sweet and Salty Caramel Bacon Shake.

The dessert comes topped with freshly-prepared candied applewood thick-cut bacon.

It’s available for a limited time while supplies last.

In other Baker’s news, the Inland Empire-only chain has brought back its popular Deal of the Day promotion.

The current deal of the day — a sausage and egg breakfast burrito for $1.99 — is valid during breakfast hours now through Saturday.

New in Murrieta

Tijuanazo Birria and Beer has expanded to Murrieta.

The small chain recently opened at 39872 Los Alamos Road, Suite 14.

The restaurant, as you might surmise from the name, offers items made with birria, including tacos, quesadilla­s, nachos and ramen.

They also serve beer. It replaces the former Westside Cafe-grill.

Hours are 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The chain also has locations in Colton (479 S. La Cadena Drive) and Moreno Valley (23923 Sunnymead Blvd.).

Forget about Doordash, Grubhub, Postmates and Uber Eats. One longtime local chain is offering free delivery.

Sundowners Family Restaurant now offers free delivery to anywhere within an approximat­e sixmile radius of its San Bernardino (1131 S. E St.) and Fontana (8983 Sierra Ave.) locations.

The free service is available 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Arby's app deals

Arby’s has a trio of weekly app deals for members of its Arby’s Rewards Program.

Members can receive $3 off a $10 purchase each week, and receive $5 off a $20 purchase every weekend.

Members can also get a free small order of French fries or curly fries on Tuesdays.

The deals are valid through April 2.

The Arby’s app is available for IOS and Android.
