Car show: The Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce will host the 28th annual Wrightwood Mountain Classic Car Show 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 19 in Wrightwood. The show is open to American-made vehicles in 21 categories from the 1930s to 1975. Online registration is open through Aug. 1 at wrightwoodchamber.org. Today
Summer movies: The city of Chino concludes its series of Friday evening summer movies at the Chino City Hall lawn, 13220 Central Ave., with a screening of “Minions: The Rise of Gru.” Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and there will be food vendors and information booths.
