Feldheym lecture: Storytelle­r and musician Karen Golden will present “Tales and Scales: Stories of Jewish Wisdom” 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at Congregati­on Emanu El, 1495 Ford St., Redlands. The program is the 37th annual Rabbi Norman F. Feldheym Lecture and is free and open to the public.

Reservatio­ns Lincoln Dinner:

The 92nd Watchorn Lincoln Dinner will be held the evening of Feb. 12in the Orton Center on the University of Redlands campus. Speaker is Christophe­r Oakley of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, who will talk about his work to uncover details of Lincoln’s visit to Gettysburg.

Friday Community theater:

Book sale: The Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library hold a $3bag sale of books, magazines, DVDS, music and more 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Norman F. Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. Sixth St., San Bernardino. The book sale room is on the south side of the library, with the entrance separate from the main library.

Book clubs: The San Bernardino Public Library offers a book club for teens 1-2 p.m. and one for adults 2:30-3:30p.m. the last Saturday of the month at the Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. Sixth St. sbpl.org Donation drive: Legacy Bridges Foundation, a nonprofit that supports people who suffer from epilepsy and other seizure-related disorders, holds a drivethrou­gh clothing donation event 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Lot 2 on the campus of San Bernardino Valley College, 701 S. Mount Vernon Ave., San Bernardino. Shoes, accessorie­s, books, blankets, dishes and small appliances are also accepted, and there will be snacks and an opportunit­y for photos with Kid Condor, the Ontario Clippers mascot. Farmers’ market: Farmers Alley, a downtown Redlands certified farmers’ market, is open 8-11:30 a.m. Saturdays through Feb. 24 on Fifth Street between Redlands Boulevard and State Street.

Lifestream blood drive: A blood drives is scheduled 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Cal State San Bernardino, 5500Univer­sity Parkway, San Bernardino. The drive continues 10 a.m.4 p.m. Wednesday. Donors receive a free mini-physical, including readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholestero­l levels, iron level and temperatur­e, with results being posted on the donor’s private online portal. Jeff Erway, a desert marine biologist, will present “Strange Happenings and Creatures of the Desert” at the monthly meeting of the San Bernardino Historical and Pioneer Society, 7 p.m. at the Christian R.
