Air Supply

If you’re looking for that romantic gesture to impress your sweetheart, you can’t go wrong with this band. The Melbourne duo have a roster of classics like “Making Love Out of Nothing at All,” “All Out of Love” and “Even the Nights Are Better” that will set the mood for the rest of the week leading up to Valentine’s Day. It wouldn’t kill you to get some flowers and a nice dinner, either.

Regina Rocks

Filipina pop singer and actress Regina Velasquez got her first big break by winning the television talent show “Ang Bagong Kampeon” in 1984 and the Asia Pacific Singing Contest in 1989. Last year, Velasquez announced a tour dubbed Regina Rocks after a run of shows celebratin­g her debut in the music business. The concert’s premise was inspired by Velasquez’s desire to perform rock and incorporat­es music from artists such as Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Queen, Radiohead and the Rolling Stones.

Queensrÿch­e

Normally you’d find heavy metal and classic rock acts taking the stage at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage, but its sister property in Cathedral City has a lineup of such shows this year starting with Queensrÿch­e. The band, known for hits such as “Silent Lucidity,” “Jet City Woman” and “Eyes of a Stranger,” toured with heavy metal giant Judas Priest in 2022 to promote its 16th studio album, “Digital Noise Alliance.”

Art Laboe Presents Latin Legends: El Chicano, Tierra, Malo and Thee Midniters

While iconic radio DJ Laboe died in October 2022, the spirit of his work lives on through his compilatio­ns of “oldies but goodies” and the musicians and culture they resonated with. The radio show was no stranger to the Latino community and could often be heard blasting at car shows or Sunday night lowrider cruises in Santa Ana and other Southern California cities. If oldies are part of your love language or you’re yearning for nostalgia, you’ll want to catch this Laboe-inspired Latin music lineup.
