Concert: The San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra will present “Rhapsody in Blue at 100,” a concert featuring George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with pianist David Kaplan, 3 and 7:30 p.m. March 2 in the auditorium on the campus of San Bernardino Valley College, 701 S. Community theater: The Redlands Footlighters will present “The Women of Lockerbie” by Deborah Brevoort, opening 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and running weekends through March 3 at 1810 Barton Road, Redlands. Community theater: Lifehouse Theater presents “The Genesis Story,” a new musical retelling of the biblical book of Genesis, opening 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at 1135 N. Church St., Redlands. Performances continue at 7 p.m. Fridays, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through March 24. There is one Thursday performance at 7 p.m. on March 21. Redlands Republican Women’s Club: Chris Grisafe of the Election Integrity Project will be the speaker when the Redlands Republican Women’s Club meets 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at Mill Creek Cattle Company, 1874 Mentone Blvd., Mentone. Cost for lunch is $30, and lunch reservations are required by today by calling Laurie Tremain at 909-792-2501 or by emailing reservations@redlandsrwf.org. Those who come only to hear the speaker and do not have lunch do not need reservations.

Writers’ club: Historical fiction author Nicola Harrison is the guest speaker when the High Desert Branch of the California Writers Club meets 10 a.m.-noon at Community Church at Jess Ranch, 11537 Apple Valley Road, Apple Valley.
