Miguel’s Jr. offering options for Lenten fare

Several fast-food restaurant­s are offering meatless options for Catholics and others eschewing meat on Fridays during Lent, but Miguel’s Jr. is offering something beyond seafood: Soyrizo.

The plant-based ingredient is available in tacos, quesadilla­s and a breakfast burrito.

In addition, the chain’s relleno burrito — a regular menu item — is also meat-free.

Soyrizo is currently available at all Miguel’s Jr. locations through April 23.

Burger box deal

Farmer Boys has launched a new meal deal featuring its Big Cheese burger.

The Big Cheese Box consists of the Big Cheese burger, half anorder of fries and a regularsiz­e drink.

The box is available for $7.99. Diners can upgrade the burger to a Double Big Cheese for $9.99.

The deal is available through March 25.

$1 slider deal

Arby’s is currently selling its sliders for just $1 each.

Guests can purchase up to five of each of the slider varieties — Buffalo chicken, chicken, jalapeño roast beef and roast beef — per order.

The deal, which is valid through March 10, is available only for orders placed online or via the chain’s app.

In other Arby’s news, the roast beef-centric chain is offering a trio of brown sugar bacon sandwiches for a limited time.

The King’s Hawaiian brown sugar bacon BLT sandwich is made with brown sugar bacon, bacon, tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise on a King’s Hawaiian bun.

The King’s Hawaiian brown sugar bacon turkey sandwich is made with brown sugar bacon, roast turkey, big eye Swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce and a mild creamy dijon spread on a King’s Hawaiian bun.
