Civil War Round Table: The Inland Empire Civil War Round Table offers an online program March 18 and an in-person program in Redlands March 20. In the March 18 program, Gordon Gidlund will discuss “Cotton and War Economics” at 6:30 p.m. Link for the Zoom presentation is at inlandempirecwrt.org. The March 20program, at 2p.m. at the A.K. Smiley Public Library, 125W. Vine St., features Mike Reetz portraying Horace Porter, Gen. Grant’s aide-de-camp and is also available on Zoom. Both programs are free.

Film festival: The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will be presented 6:30 p.m. March 15 and 16 at the Fox Event Center, 123 Cajon St., Redlands. A different program of short films will be shown each evening. Tickets are $30, available at sgwa.org and at the door. Fundraiser: The annual Purse Party fundraiser for the Redlands Symphony Orchestra’s educational programs will be held 11 a.m. March 16 at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands. Community theater: Lifehouse Theater presents “The Genesis Story,” a new musical retelling of the biblical book of Genesis, 7 p.m. at 1135 N. Church St., Redlands. Donors receive a free mini-physical, including readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol levels, iron level and temperature, with results being posted on the donor’s private online portal.
