Jagger, Rolling Stones heading to the Big Easy

- – From wire reports

The Rolling Stones will try for a third time to play the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on Thursday. They canceled in 2019 because Mick Jagger had heart surgery, and the festival canceled in 2021 because of a surge in COVID-19 cases. The festival has 14stages that showcase music simultaneously,

but festival producer Quint Davis says they plan to shut down the other 13 when the Stones take the main stage. Davis says they didn’t want to have 13stages with nobody in front of them. New Orleans Jazz Fest opens today with Widespread Panic and The Beach Boys. Other performers over the two weekends include Jon Batiste, Chris Stapleton and Heart.

Gadd found reliving part of his past `surreal'

Scottish actor and comedian Richard Gadd says it was “difficult,”

“surreal” to relive a horrible part of his past for the series “Baby Reindeer.” It’s about real events in which Gadd dealt with a stalker. He says nobody wants to relive their worst time in their life for a day, let alone for the seven months it took to film “Baby Reindeer.” He says back when the woman was giving him unwanted attention, he felt it was a blight on his soul, but when he saw the cast and crew bring it to life, he saw it become art. “Baby Reindeer” is streaming now on Netflix.
