Vincent J. Misurelli
SARATOGA SPRINGS — Vincent J. Misurelli, 87, of Patricia Lane died Tuesday morning, Dec. 25, 2012, at Wesley Health Care Center.
Born Nov. 6, 1925, in Brooklyn, he was the son of Michael and Anna (Farone) Misurelli. He was a graduate of Saratoga High School.
Vince served in the United States Navy as a machinist mate aboard the USS Lough.
He married Maria DeGiglio on April 16, 1966, in Brooklyn.
Vince was employed at Schaefer Brewery, Rheingold Brewery and later with Service Liquor in Schenectady. He worked for several years at McGregor Country Club and for many summers in the New York Racing Association grounds department.
Vince enjoyed playing golf, cutting wood, fishing, hunting and spending time at the family hunting camp in Bethel, Vt.
He was a member of the Dominick Smaldone Post 35, Italian American War Veterans, Saratoga Springs.
Vince was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Donald Misurelli; and a son-in-law, Joseph Dalton.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Maria Misurelli; two daughters, Annamaria Dalton Bellantoni and her husband, Mark of Wilton, and Patricia Misurelli of Saratoga Springs; a son, Michael Misurelli and his wife, Christie, of Nantucket, Mass.; four grandchildren, Joanna Dalton, Daniel Dalton, Nicholas Misurelli and Claire Misurelli; three sisters, Gloria Jarvis and her husband, Chuck, of Glens Falls, Arlene Griffith of Glens Falls and Sandra Costanzo and her husband, Larry, of Glendale, Ariz; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p. m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at St. Clement’s Church in Saratoga Springs.
Burial will be in Greenridge Cemetery in Saratoga Springs.
