KOREAN WAR VETERANS: The September meeting of Adirondack Ch. 60, of the Korean War Veterans Association will be held on Thursday, September 1, at 1:30 p.m. at the VFW home on Veterans’ Way, located just north of Saratoga Springs off the arterial. The VFW home is a short left hand turn at the intersection . Veterans who served anywhere during the Korean War or in Korea at any time, spouses, widows and friends are all invited to attend. MAPLE AVENUE MIDDLE SCHOOL: On Thursday, Sept. 1, Maple Avenue will host a walk-through for all seventh and eighth grade students from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Students must have a parent or guardian with them to attend the walk-through. Attendees should bring student schedules with them as copies will not be available at the school.
