Listening to Donald Trump [at the debate], the only thing the man has talked about is money, money, money. He could care less about the government.

The debate is the same old stuff. Oh yeah, she did a great job bashing Trump a lot, but she’s the same old Hillary Clinton. To me it looked like she was on something. Her face was just frozen. Maybe she had Botox treatment before she went in so her face wouldn’t move. To me she was just the same hypocrite she has always been. You could tell the moderator was for Clinton the way he kept interrupting Trump. He didn’t interrupt her like that, did he? My opinion hasn’t changed.

Hillary said during the debate that Trump accused the first black president of not being born in this country. She must have forgotten that when she ran against Obama in 2008 she said the exact same thing. It’s on tape. Again, a proven liar.

Well, I listened to the debate and watched their facial expressions, their hands, everything. Hillary Clinton is nothing but a phony. We don’t need her in there, she’s a liar and a big phony. She’s only going to hurt the middle class; we’ll be paying more taxes than the rich. The rich are not going to go against each other. I think Donald Trump will try to do a good job saving our country.

I’m going to vote for Donald Trump because he has some great ideas. However, his defense of stop-and-frisk is really terrible. I’d like to see him change his stance on that. It’s not just stopand-frisk, it’s stop-and-search. The Fourth Amendment gives us the right to privacy. Donald, brush up on the Constitution a little bit.

I remain much more bothered by what Hillary has done and not done than by what Trump has said.

Isn’t it about time our lawmakers, our governors, our mayors and especially our president, took control of riotous situations and laid down the full force of the point of law. Peaceful protests are one thing; however, unlawful conduct will be punished. These protests are filmed. Anyone throwing rocks, bottles or other debris that causes bodily image or property damage they will be arrested and tried. If found guilty you will go to jail. Now Mr. President and lawmakers of our country, it’s time you enforced the law.

I want to comment on the professional athletes who refuse to stand for the national anthem and dissing our flag and our country. Personally I don’t see how this negative action is helping Black Lives Matter. If anything it’s going to turn more people against you. Secondly, I think you should do something positive to draw attention to Black Lives Matter. What you’re doing now is just going to backfire. I know this how I feel now. If black lives really matter, go out and do something positive and draw positive attention to your cause.

In the September 22 paper I am very upset at the American Indian in your editorial cartoon. It was very offensive to the American Indian.

I’m white and I say that the only issue facing this country more urgent than Black Lives Matter and supporting them is stopping climate change.

Hillary Clinton says it’s an outrage that 33,000 people this year in this country will die from gun violence. What she doesn’t mention is that over 53,000 people a year will die from secondhand cigarette smoke, because she’s taken massive donations from the tobacco industry.

I hope Trump does take New York state. It’s about time. All these years they’ve been going Democratic, all the money going down to New York City, where all the top officials and Democrats are. Vote for Trump. Maybe we can take New York and get him to the White House.

Dare we blame the heads of countries who spend their time and resources on nuclear retaliation when we nominate someone as erratic and irresponsible as Donald Trump to be leader of the free world?

With all the killings of blacks by policemen, is it possible if one or more are death by suicide to incite violence? Just saying ...
