Fall Festival set for Oct. 9
SCHUYLERVILLE >> Live music, food, art, and a family-friendly scavenger hunt will highlight the first-ever Schuylerville Fall Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9.
More than 60 local businesses and organizations will participate in the event, called “Turning Leaves at the Turning Point,” which will be held along Broad and Ferry streets.
The small business scavenger hunt will begin and end at Schuylerville Public Library, where a number of activities will take place.
Participants are encouraged to visit local businesses and engage with proprietors, whose downtown restaurants and store fronts will be open.
Additional area food vendors will set up tents and serve special dishes, street musicians will perform, and artists and artisans will demonstrate their skills and sell wares.
Following the scavenger hunt, participants will be entered in a small business raffle for the chance to win a large basket filled with goods and gift certificates from local businesses.
A full music lineup is planned.
The Schuylerville Fall Festival is hosted by the Schuylerville Small Business Association and Schuylerville Public Library. It will be held rain or shine.
