Sentencing: Michael J. Cole, 31, of Saratoga Springs was sentenced Oct. 19 to 1 1⁄2 to three years in prison for fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony. Sentencing: William R. Apholz, 34, of Milton was sentenced Oct. 19 to 1 2⁄3 to five years in prison for driving while intoxicated, a class D felony. Sentencing: Eric D. Loya, 34, of Mechanicville was sentenced Oct. 19 to five years probation for thirddegree welfare fraud, a class D felony. Plea: Shawn J. Morrison, 52, of Mechanicville pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony. Plea: Garret J. Herman, 20, of Malta pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to second-degree attempted burglary, a class D violent felony. Sentencing: Miguel W. John, 21, of Saratoga Springs was sentenced Oct. 18 to five years in prison and five years post-release supervision for seconddegree attempted burglary, a class D violent felony. Sentencing: Dustin R. Baylis, 29, of Ballston Spa was sentenced Oct. 18 to six months in jail and five years probation for firstdegree knowingly making or possessing prison contraband, a class D felony. Sentencing: Marc A. Abendschein, 53, of Halfmoon was sentenced Oct. 18 to five years in prison and five years post-release supervision for second-degree attempted burglary, a class D violent felony.
