CLIFTON PARK - Harold G. Kelly, 93, of Clifton Park died on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectad­y.

He was born on July 10, 1923 in Troy and was the son of the late G. Warren and Agnes Kelly. Harold was a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 1941. He also attended Siena Col-lege. Harold was a veteran of World War II and served in France, Belgium and Germany. He also near the Battle of the Bulge among many other con- - flicts. He was a technical sergeant with the Ninth Army, 554th Ordinance Heavy Maintenanc­e pany. He was honorably discharged. Harold worked for Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. for over 40 years, tiring as the District ager of the of Schenectad­y fice in 1982. He began his career as a meter reader in Troy and rose through the management ranks in the company’s Hud-son, Saratoga Springs and Fort Plain offices. old was President of the Schenectad­y United Way, Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. He coached baseball and played in the Troy Babe Ruth He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed many sports-golf, baseball, bowling, ice skating, basketball and horseracin­g. A kind and gentleman, Harold also loved cats, flowers, birdwatchi­ng and reading about history.

A devoted husband of 64 years to Elaine S. Kelly, who predecease­d him on March 8, 2016. Harold also loved his three children, Kristine Kelly, Ph.D., Karl Kelly (fiancé Nancy Murtha) and Kim Kelly. He also loved Nancy’s three children, George (fiancé Amanda), Carrie (fiancé James) and Will (Ashley). Harold was predecease­d by his two brothers, Warand ren W. Kelly (Kathryn) Erwin Kelly (Connie of Latham).

Funeral will be held day Mar. 17, 2017 at 10:30 am from St. George’s Epis-copal Church, 912 Route 146 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Calling hours will be from 4-8 pm Thursday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Interment with full tary honors will be in the Gerald BH Solomon Sara-toga National Cemetery in Schuylervi­lle at 12 noon following the church ser-vice.
