Laurence Rene Masse, age 78, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Wesley Healthcare Center.

He was born on ber 25, 1938 in Westport, NY, the son of the late Philcommu-worked ip W. Masse and Helene F. Brazeau Masse.

Laurence served in the US Army as a cook and then he was a diesel mechanic with Congress Gas and Oil for many years. He owned and operated a pizzeria in Greenfield Center and was a big part of the nity. Laurence then in the school system in North Carolina until he refriends. tired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing trips to Deer Pond, long phone calls with his loved ones, and spending time with his family and

He is survived by his sons; Eric L. Masse-Demarco and his husband Steven Masse-Demarco, Scott P. Masse, Jody M. Masse and his wife Tammy Masse. Also by his grandchildren; Erica, Hannah, Jessica, Athena, and Wyatt. Along with his sister, Theresa and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Maurice, Louie, Andre and sister, Marie and his lifelong love Mary Ferguson Masse.

A graveside service with military honor will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.

Family and friends may gather at the America LeNY gion located at 6 Clancy Street, Schuylerville, 12871 from 2-4pm.
