SARATOGA CATHOLIC 14, TAMARAC 3

SARATOGA » Saratoga Catholic sophomore Terel Tillman went five innings Wednesday afternoon for the Saints, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out 11

Saratoga Catholic (3-0 Wasaren League, 3-0 overall) saw Connor Farrington went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and four runs scored followed by Kaden Learch with a 3-for-4 day, 4 RBI and a run scored. Cadhan McFadden went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run scored with Tyler Haraden going 1-for-3 and three runs scored.

Tillman (1-0) secured the win for the Saints, Jack Mulligan (01) took the loss for the Bengals.

There is a site change to Saturday’s Phil Waring Tournament as Saratoga Catholic will host Glens Falls 10 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park and Corinth will take on Schuylervi­lle at 10 a.m. at West Side Rec.

The consolatio­n final is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at West Side Rec and the championsh­ip game is scheduled for 1:30 at Veteran’s Memorial Park.

SOFTBALL

Friday’s Saratoga Catholic softball contest has a site and time change as the Saints will now host Waterford-Halfmoon for a double-header at Veteran’s Memorial Park beginning at 4 p.m. The second contest is set for 7 p.m.

BOYS LACROSSE QUEENSBURY 17, LASALLE 9

WATERVILET » Queensbury had a strong offensive attack and took the big win over LaSalle institute with there top scorer James Conway scoring six goals and passing out two assists. Lasalle (1-4 overall) scored in every quarter, but were unable to keep up with Queensbury, who scored in abundance. Queensbury (2-0 overall, 0-0 league) was also helped by Alex Chirgwin who scored three goals along with an assists, Colin Cunnigham who had two goals and two assits and Sean Collins and Nate Stone who both scored two goals. LaSalle top scorers

were Sabastian Criger and Corbin LeFleur who has three goals a piece.

Neither goalie fared well with LaSalle goalie Mike scott giving up 17 goals and Queensbury’s Cole Carpenter and Kellen Gannon gave up the nine goals and had 15 saves combined.

GIRLS LACROSSE

SARATOGA SPRINGS 14, BALLSTON SPA 7

BALLSTON SPA» Saratoga Springs spread out there offense getting foals from 10 different players. The Blue Streaks were led by Cameron Parry and Katie Wendell who both scored three goals. In goal, Abigail Searles had seven saves and Emily Fischer and Peyton Yourch both had three.

Ballston Spa had to players score two goals in Miller and Rule and Burdick had 13 saves for the team.

TENNIS

MAPLE HILL 7, WATERFORD 0

MAPLE HILL » Maple Hill swept the day, winning every matchup. Maple Hill’s Tim Wochinger, Jeremy Price, Evan Fink, Lucas Bourdeau and Logan Garvey all won there single matches, while the teams of Austin Decker and Blake Decker and the team of Davin Sherwood and John Tre Doyle won there duo matches as well.

NISKAYUNA 7, BALLSTON SPA 2

BALLSTON SPA» Ballston Spa dropped seven matchups and won two against Niskayuna. Thomas Gentile and Zack Greenwalt were both able to win there matches to give Ballston Spa there two points.

BETHLEHEM 9, SCHENECTAD­Y 0

SCHENECTAD­Y» Schenectad­y dropped all conmtests and were only able to win seven games. Bethlehem dominated winning all games by 6-0,6-1 or 6-2.
