Jerome H. Willard

BALLSTON SPA - Jerome H. Willard, 85, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, after a long illEffie ness. Born in Ballston Spa, NY on June 24, 1931, he was the son of Ralph and Willard.

Jerry enlisted in the US Army and served during the Korean War, earning a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Silver Star. He was a disabled veteran. Jerry was a member of VFW Post 358 and American Legion Post 234 in Ballston Spa.

He was predeceased by his daughter Jo-Ann Hart.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years Marie Barnes Willard; their chil(DoroChristoJoshgrandchilgrandnephews. dren Lorri Zarro (James), Jerome Willard thy), and James Willard; Jo-Ann’s children who he raised as his own, pher Hart (Sarah), Jamie Dunham (Chip), and ua Hart (Laura); dren Riley Willard, Brian Zarro (Jenn), Matthew Zarro (Theresa) and Misty Augustine, 15 great children and several nieces and

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday, April 29 from 10am to 12noon at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A service will be held at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Powell Wiswall Cemetery, Ballston Spa.

In lieu of flowers, rial contributions in memory of Jerry may be made to your local animal shelter for the adoption of older animals.
