BENEFIT FOR MYA: The Henry Cornell Post 234 American Legion in Ballston Spa is hosting a benefit for Mya Hauser on April 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 23 Pleasant Street, Ballston Spa. Mya is a 15 year old student who has recently been diagnosed as having 4th stage Hodgkin Lymphoma. This benefit is to help raise money for her parents top pay off the medical bills to treat Mya. Tickets are $20 (ages 12 and up) and include BBQ chicken dinner, hamburgers & hot dogs for purchase for children. There will also be raffles, a 50⁄50 and a live auction.

BHBL ROTARY: The Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Rotary Club will hold its traditiona­l, annual Community Breakfast at the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church on Saturday April 29 from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. Breakfast will include all the fixings for $7 per person; children under 5 free. New this year: activities for younger children sponsored by the BHBL Mom’s Club. 100% of the proceeds go to charitable projects. BRIGGS CEMETERY ASSOCIATIO­N: The annual meeting of the Briggs Cemetery Associatio­n will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 29, at the cemetery located on Brookline Road, Town of Ballston. A business meeting and election of officers and trustees will be held. The spring cleanup starts at 9 a.m. prior to the meeting. All lot owners and interested persons are invited to attend. Rain date is May 7.

CROWN: The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will present its annual Countdown to the Triple Crown program on Saturday, April 29 at 1 p.m. in the Museum’s Hall of Fame Gallery. The program is open to the public and free to attend. Racing experts Tom Amello and Jeff Carle will be on hand to offer analysis and prediction­s for the 143rd running of the Kentucky Derby and answer questions from the audience about the Triple Crown series. Guests will receive a compliment­ary issue of the Triple Crown preview edition of The Blood-Horse, featuring past performanc­es, while supplies last. The museum is located at 191 Union Avenue in Saratoga Springs.
