Single-day reserved seats at track on sale Wednesday

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> People can purchase single-day reserved seats for the 2017 meet at Saratoga Race Course beginning Wednesday, May 3 at 10 a.m., a news release said.

Single-day reserved seats in the Clubhouse and Grandstand will be available via Ticketmast­er.com. All reserved seats purchased in advance include admission.

Single-day tickets will go on sale to the general public following the current exclusive window for guests to secure six-day weekly ticket plans.

The summer racing season will begin on Friday, July 21 and continue through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.

Weekly ticket plans provide a reserved seat for six consecutiv­e days of the meet from Wednesday through Monday (Friday through Monday for Opening Weekend). These plans may be purchased online through NYRA Account Manager.

Week-long reserved seat plans for the 2017 meet at Saratoga Race Course are available as follows:

• Week 1, Opening Weekend: Fri. July 21 through Mon. July 24

• Week 2, featuring the Jim Dandy: Wed. July 26 through Mon. July 31

• Week 3, featuring the Whitney: Wed. Aug. 2 through Mon. Aug. 7

• Week 4, featuring the Fourstarda­ve: Wed. Aug. 9 through Mon. Aug. 14

• Week 5, featuring the Alabama: Wed. Aug. 16 through Mon. Aug. 21

• Week 6, featuring the Travers: Wed. Aug. 23 through Mon. Aug. 28

• Week 7, featuring the Woodward: Wed. Aug. 30 through Mon. Sept. 4

Week-long ticket plan holders may exchange any unwanted race day tickets for an alternate race day of their choice (based on available inventory, restrictio­ns apply) via NYRA Account Manager.

Fans may take advantage of the Saratoga Virtual Venue seating map to digitally preview their seat location and sightlines before purchasing tickets. All tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, the release said.

A new offering for the 2017 season will be available during Family Mondays, which features free family activities each Monday in the Saratoga Pavilion. The “Family Fun Four Pack” includes four Grandstand reserved seats (including admission), four hot dogs and four 12 oz. beverages for $44. The offer is subject to availabili­ty. Dining

Dining reservatio­ns for the 2017 season at one of Saratoga Race Course’s restaurant­s, including the Turf Terrace, Club Terrace and The Porch, are currently available and can be made online at www.OpenTable.com or via the Open Table mobile applicatio­n.

There are a limited number of dining reservatio­ns currently available in the Club Terrace for the Grade 1 Travers on Saturday, Aug. 26, the Grade 1 Whitney on Saturday, Aug. 5, the Grade 1 Alabama on Saturday, Aug. 19 and Opening Day, Friday, July 21. Dining reservatio­ns for the Turf Terrace and The Porch are sold out for these dates as well as every Friday and Saturday during the meet.

Dining is currently available in all on-track restaurant­s on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Guests can make dining reservatio­ns by searching for Saratoga Race Course and selecting the on-track restaurant of their choice. Guests will be asked to indicate the number of people in their party and preferred date. There is only one 11:30 a.m. seating available per day for each dining location, as the table belongs to the party for the entire afternoon. Guests are asked to claim their table by 1 p.m., the release said

All guests will be required to provide a credit card when making the reservatio­n through OpenTable. Dining reservatio­ns at Saratoga Race Course are subject to availabili­ty and require a non-refundable seating charge payment. No reservatio­ns will be accepted by phone.
