FEEDER CANAL ALLIANCE: Get ready to paddle the Feeder Canal on Saturday, June 3, in your kayak or canoe and choose to either race or to enjoy this five mile long recreational waterway with a leisurely paddle with your family. This event to support the Feeder Canal Alliance will begin at 10 a.m. at the Feeder Dam, located at the end of Richardson Street in Queensbury, and finish at the Martindale Boat Basin, located on Martindale Avenue in the village of Hudson Falls. A picnic and awards ceremony will follow at Martindale Boat Basin Park. INDIE LENS POP-UP: Old Chatham, Indie Lens Pop-Up, presented by ITVS, Independent Lens and Old Chatham Quaker Meeting www.oldchathmquakers.org is excited to present “Real Boy,” a film by Shaleece Haas, followed by a Q&A. LEARN TO SWIM: Saratoga Spa State Park will hold its free annual Learn-to-Swim program from July 10-21 at the Peerless Pool. The 100± mile round trip run will take you by the scenic Saratoga Lake, through the rolling hills of Stillwater and Saratoga National Historic Battlefield, over the Hudson River, to the American Legion Post #515, 19 Abeel Ave., Greenwich, and back to The Factory. ANTIQUE BOTTLE SHOW: The National Bottle Museum, 76 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa, holds its annual Antique Bottle Show & Sale at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 4, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. Parking is free. The bottle show is the Museum’s chief fundraiser and is attended by dealers and collectors from across the Unioted States. All types of antique bottles, related glassware, stoneware and ephemera will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring their empty old bottles for identification; bottles with contents should be photographed with a general description. There will also be a lampworking demonstration by Glassworks Studio personnel, with some art glass for sale. After the show, attendees will be encouraged to stop by the Museum, open until 4 p.m., and learn more about the history of bottle manufacturing.
