BALLSTON SPA CEMETERY CLEANUP: The Ballston spa Cemetery Associatio­n is looking for volunteers to help with several projects in the village cemetery. People are needed for gravestone cleaning, fence painting, brush trimming. GRANT COTTAGE: “And They Fought Too: Women Soldiers of the Civil War,” 1 p.m. Many women decided being a nurse, cook, or laundress was not what they wanted to do during the Civil War--they wanted more! The July 2 tour is “Health & Wellness: Franklin Square.” Carrie Woerner, NYS Assemblywo­man and former SSPF Executive Director, lead the tour through the architectu­rally rich historic Franklin Square area.
