Library to close for July 4 holiday
The Saratoga Springs Public Library will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
The 2017 Summer Reading Program for children, teens and adults is underway. Signing up is fast and easy and can be done in person at the library or online at www.sspl. org.
Programs for preschoolers include Library Babies, 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday, July 7. No registration is required.
Programs for children continue with Paws4Reading with Mika, 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, and Paws4Reading with Buck, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday; Scholastic Summer Road Trip, 2-4 p.m. Thursday. Visit the events calendar on the library website for more information.
Teen programs for students in grades 6-12 include Teen Room Movie Night, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday. No registration is required.
Adult programs continue with Artists in Action: Digital Painting with Jennifer Armstrong, noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, and Life is Short: Short Story Reading Discussion, 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday, July 7. No registration is required for either program.
Computer classes continue this week with Intro to Computers & MS Windows for Absolute Beginners; Apple iPhones: The Basics and Beyond the Basics; and Computer Practice Session. Visit the library website for a full schedule or to register.
