COHOES - Frederick Raymond “Butch” DeCelle, Sr., 75, most recently of The Villages, FL, beloved husDomiban­d of Anne Marie nick DeCelle, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.

Born in Troy, NY on July 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Alfred J.and CeceMeScho­ol. lia M. Baker DeCelle. Fred was a 1959 graduate of chanicvill­e High He proudly served in the United States Navy as an aircraft-engine mechanic, specializi­ng in helicopter repair, from 1959 to 1963. He worked locally Behrat Manning and for over 30 years at General Electric Silicones in Waterford. Fred loved golfing, espegrandT­he cially with his sons, sons and friends at Villages. He was past-presfolide­nt of the Stillwater Little League and NYS District 11 District Administra­tor and lowed all his children’s athcommuni­Minmember letic endeavors with great pride. He was a cant, and Eucharisti­c ister, at St. Ambrose Parish, Latham, and St. Theresa’s, Belleview, FL. Recently Fred became a of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, Florida Society, The Villages Chapter.

In addition to his parents, Fred was predecease­d by two brothers, Alfred Robert DeCelle, and William Peter DeCelle and three sisters, Mary M. Patregnani, CeceAnusze­wski. lia M. Coreno, and Shirley A.

Fred loved his family first and foremost and is surforchil­Devived by his wife, Anne, and their son, Nicholas J. (Nicole) DeCelle; his mer wife Madeline Volpe Marinello, and their dren Daniel J. (Debra) Celle, Frederick R. (Renee) DeCelle, Jr., Scott DeCelle, Trisha Ann (John) Izzo, and David John DeCelle; eight grandchild­ren and four great-grandchild­ren. Also surviving are seven sisters, Mildred (Warren) Schell, Patricia Palmer, Beverly Gooley, Madeline DeCelle, Elizabeth Neese, Carol (Frank) Volpe and Gail (Donald) Phillips and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, (St. Paul’s), 121 North Main Street, Mechanicvi­lle.

A Mass of Christian al will be celebrated at 11am Monday, July 3, 2017 at All Saints on the Hudson South Church by the Rev. Thomas Morrette, pastor.

Burial with military ors will be at 3pm Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylervi­lle.

Donations may be made to your local Community Hospice.
